The thought of Region-Only Mini's attracted me to the game!!! </japanese player>

....

Really though, Eve on the Box art, no fee's and good customisation, I'm a sucker for that.

Lets put it this way...

I'm tight. I'm cheap.

1. Runescape
2. Starcraft
3. Guild Wars

'nuff said.

I asked my (now ex) GF to buy me WoW for my birthday. She got me the wrong game.
Now I'm glad she did.

No monthly fees and the graphics brought me to GW's, not to mention the level 20 cap.

No monthly fee + really easy to get a character to full stats. The grindfest of a lot of other MMOs was simply not appealing. Kind of sad to see GW giving into that crowd now with titles that have in game effects.

Was the end of September 2005, fall/winter were coming and I wanted some games to occupy me a little. Bought 3 games that day, GWs is the only one still on the computer. I bought it because I remembered a friend mentioning that he played.

Well, my main char has 10.5+ million xp and a bunch of titles and all the goodies she will ever need - want is a different story. Needless to say I got engrossed.

Funny thing happened today though, after poping into a bunch of mission spots looking for groups doing them in hard mode and finding none - I was perplexed with what I wanted to do, for the first time in 18 months. There had always been something, today nothing lept out so I logged off.

Hoping GW:EN will be good, not so sure about GW2 atm as it is aways off.

What atracted me to the game when i knew very litle about it was the extraordinary graphics it had when it all started 2 years ago.

It stunned me every second i played.

It was (and still his) very immersive.

The whole 'balance and non-grind' reputation of the game drew me to it. Its not balanced and I grind all day long but I love it.

My cousin saw it in the store and it looked good, especially since it had no monthly fees. I was reluctant to get it at first but then decided to get it. One of the best things is that it saved me from Rune Scape

Beta got my interest sparked but the whole no monthly fee thing, PvP and graphics pulled me into it.

I played Gunbound before GW and some of my friends playing Gunbound moved to GW, so I decided to move too.

Good ratings for no monthly fee.

Not in my best games list I've played, but it has provided enough entertainment for the relatively low amount of money I've spent on it.
